In 1909, William Durant, a successful buggy manufacturer from Flint, Michigan and, asked Louis Chevrolet, a well known race car driver, begun the discussion on the design of a car that will face Ford's infamous Model T. Though Durant had not yet formed a company to manufacture it, he pursued this plan. Two years later Durant and Chevrolet formed the company, and entered the automobile
